Horse rescue transport?
Does anyone know of a very cheap transporter who could help bring back from france, horses that have been rescued from slaughter.This is a genuine and desperate plea for assiatance. The equine horse rescue need to find a long term transporter to bring these poor souls to the uk for re-homing. The current cost has risen from £171 per horse to £250 we need to cut this as much as posible.If anyone knows of anyone or anywhere please contact. Thankyou to all who reply and help.
Why don’t you contact some horse transportation companies. Many trips go out to France loaded and come back empty.
Negotiate a donation of a trip, or at a much reduced charge. The equine horse rescue group is (I’m presuming) a registered charity, so you should be able to use this for bargaining.
It might be cheaper in the long run, though, to invest in a, still roadworthy, horse box and run the trips yourselves.
